About Me

I'm not out to solve any problems. I've reached senior citizen status and realize I don't have all the answers, sometimes I'm not even sure of the questions. So if you happen to glean a tid bit of knowledge from one of my posts, it's probably a happy accident.

Who am I you might ask.....or not. I'm a California girl born and raised.

1990

I graduated from high school in Pasadena, California and nursing collage in San Diego, California.

I'm retired now but I worked for over 45 years as a Registered Nurse. The last 30 as a labor & delivery, nursery, women's health nurse. I enjoyed my career and it gave me a lot of satisfaction. Now I'm enjoying a new chapter in my life.

I married my husband in 1966, you do the math. When our children were in grade school we moved to his home state of Wyoming and have been here ever since.

I enjoy traveling. I've been to 22 of the 50 states in the US. I've also traveled to Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, France(Paris), Italy, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, Belize and Costa Rica.

We have a daughter and a son, both married. They each have one child. Our daughter has a daughter and our son has a son. I thought that worked out very neat and tidy. Being a grandparent is a real joy. You will find my grandchildren featured in many of my posts.
